Chris Thompson, the founder of Yes and No Limited, has over forty years-experience as a successful director, investor and entrepreneur. Having founded, built and sold several businesses and been responsible for more than a dozen acquisitions, Chris has employed and managed hundreds of staff in UK, Europe and USA, negotiating with multiple suppliers and gaining recognition as an inspiring Leader.

Chris trained in Business Studies, Statistics, Accounting and Stock Exchange Law and Practice at the City of London University. In the 1980’s he was a founder-partner in G E Communication Services (Gecoms), which grew to become the UK’s largest SME focused independent Comms Bureau. Chris negotiated the sale of Gecoms to Noah Communications in 1992.
He created Netcomm Systems Limited in 1995, which became the largest UK reseller of RightFax (fax management solution) before negotiating the sale of Netcomm to Avanquest SA in 2000. Chris was appointed Managing Director of Avanquest UK; holding that role for nineteen years.
Chris headed a Management Buyout of Avanquest UK (which was by now ProcessFlows UK Limited), becoming the major shareholder. In 2016, a multi-national company acquired ProcessFlows. Chris remained as MD for three years, serving on the UK Leadership Team and the European ITS Programme Board of the new owner.
Other than these roles, Chris has been both an executive and non-executive director of many other companies in UK and Europe and is currently advising several organisations. He was elected a Fellow of the Institute of Directors in 2011 and became a member of the Academy for Chief Executives in 2014. He has excellent connections across all areas of business and commerce.
